Process After Approval
Step 0: Celebrate!
Your costume has been approved! Your hard word is noticed and appreciated. Welcome to the Best Garrison in the Galaxy!
Step 1: Registration
Before you can access the DRG Site to sign up for events, you need to make sure you are registered to the member site. To do so, click HERE.
You will need to fill out all required areas (especially your TKID if you are 501st, or you won’t have access to our events area!).
If you are not a 501st Member, your access will be limited to the public areas of the Forums.

Step 2: Log-In to Member Website
You will need to be logged in to view the site, including the Events Calendar and Forums.

Step 3: Discord
The DRG has moved to Discord HERE for all our communication needs. We HIGHLY recommend that you join the DRG server there. This is especially true if you are a member of the DRG as this is where our event communications occur, merchandise runs as well as our casual chats and specific Detachment subgroup chats are.
Permissions and Roles
Once you create your account and accept the server invite, you will want to make sure you go to the #permissions-requests channel and click the button that says, Request Permissions. This will open a new ticket channel where you can input your information and we can get you the correct permissions and roles. You will not be able to see 95% of the server channels until you complete this step!
Optional Roles
There are also optional roles that you can select in the #optional-roles-requests channel. They include photo consent, spoilers chat, and any special event communication channels to reduce updates to only members who want to receive them.
DRG Detachment Subgroups
Many of the 501st Detachments have subgroups that offer additional localized grouping opportunities for members within a specific Garrison or Outpost. To gain access to these, you must have an approved costume for the Detachment you want to join AND be registered on that Detachment’s forum (you can find a list of them HERE). Once that is complete, either message one of the GMLs or Web Masters and they can adjust your permissions OR fill out a permissions request by going to the #permission-requests channel and clicking the Request Permissions. This will open a new ticket channel where you can input your information and we can get you the correct permissions and roles.

Step 4: DRG Event Forums
Sign up for upcoming trooping events HERE or click on the Event tab above. Can’t wait for you to troop with us. On the Event Tab you will find pertinent event information such as date and time, face character sign up, quantity of troopers requested etc. Please read the instruction on the event tab on how to sign up for an event.

Step 5: 501st Forums
The word “Forums” refers to the entire 501st Legion website. The 501st Legion website can be found HERE or under the 501st Link Tab at the top of the page. The Forum is where you go during election time to vote, where you find important guide lines on trooping and costume regulations, member TKID look up and all other pertinent information regarding the 501st Legion.
